- After reviewing the details of the FirstLight Franchise model, we’ll send you the Franchise Disclosure document for your review and set up a day and time to review the important sections of the document.
- If you decide to move forward, we'll schedule another call to review three areas: marketing, training, and operations. This will also initiate the process of validation calls with FirstLight franchisees to learn more about their experiences.

Now it's time to get into the most important details:
- Complete validation calls with current FirstLight franchise owners to gain insights into their experiences and successes.
- If these discussions yield positive outcomes, you'll be invited to attend an upcoming Meet the Team Day, where you can meet and greet FirstLight leadership.

This brings you face-to-face with the FirstLight leadership and sets the stage for your franchise journey:
- Attend a virtual Meet the Team Day, where you'll spend an afternoon getting to know the FirstLight team and gaining in-depth knowledge about our business and the culture and cor values that make up our company DNA.
- Engage in interactive sessions to learn more about our operations, support systems, and success strategies.
- Receive information on training dates and a projected timeline for upcoming milestones, including the signing of the franchise agreement or deposit agreement.

We'll ensure all your questions are answered, and you're provided with valuable insights to make a decision:
- Participate in a follow-up call to address any remaining questions from the Meet the Team Day.
- Receive feedback and findings from the FirstLight Home Care franchising team regarding your potential as a new FirstLight owner.
- Discuss any final concerns or considerations before moving forward with your franchise decision.

6Final approval and territory confirmation
At this stage, we finalize key details and move towards official approval:
- Confirm your territory timing as earlier agreed upon.
- Address any remaining questions you may have about the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
- Submit your candidacy to our approval board for review and approval to become a Firstlight franchise owner.

You're almost there! Now is the time to dot your I's and cross your T's:
- Coordinate your franchise agreement dates, allowing ample time for final review.
- Participate in the signing of the franchise agreement with a FirstLight representative present by phone.
- Return the signed agreement along with the initial franchise fee to officially join the FirstLight family.

Congrats! You're now part of the FirstLight family. This step initiates your onboarding process as a new FirstLight franchise owner:
- Receive a welcome call from our CEO upon receipt of your fully executed agreement.
- Engage in a call with your Launch Specialist to review the Pre-Training Checklist items, set up a training and operations kick-off within two days of your checklist review, and confirm the timeline for completion.
- Participate in an introductory call to discuss advanced prep work for your training session, followed by regular check-in calls along the process.

9Training and grand opening preparation
This phase focuses on your education and preparation for launching your franchise:
- Complete our Pre-Flight online training to earn your diploma.
- Attend hands-on and small group Flight School new owner training at our world headquarters in Cincinnati, OH, networking with other new owners and managers.
- Establish friendships and mentorships to support your FirstLight business growth.
- We'll begin public relations efforts for your grand opening and help you finalize all other preparation items.

10Open your FirstLight Home Care
Finally, this is the moment you've been waiting for! It's time to launch your FirstLight home care franchise and make a difference in your community:
- You’ll schedule your grand opening.
- We’ll ensure a member of the FirstLight Home Care Operations Team is onsite shortly after your opening.
- We’ll ensure a follow-up for field support communications and set weekly calls with you for at least the first four months.
